About Us

My name is Kailie Mallett and I am the owner of Broken Arrow Studios. I am an Arizona native but currently reside in Rhode Island with my partner, Colin, and our two cats, Percy and Holly.

Being an Arizona native and my experience growing up in the beautiful desert truly has shaped me into the person that I am. I wanted to honor that by naming my business after a place that holds a special place in my heart- Broken Arrow. Broken Arrow sits in Miller Canyon in Sierra Vista, AZ and it is a place where I spent a lot of my childhood. Many of my Great Aunts and Uncles lived (and some still do) on this stunning mountain. I specifically loved having bonfires with my cousins and playing in the stream that ran by my Great Aunt Mary and Great Uncle Dennis' house. Having my business named after one of my favorite places will always remind me of my roots and that is just so special.

Like many, my shop is the result of extra free time that I fell into due to COVID-19. I've always loved crafting, but this was my opportunity to keep practicing and developing my craft. I look forward to spreading my art around the world through my lovely customers!
